Based at Fairlands Community Centre’ the Surrey Swing Dance Society’s previous charity event raised a staggering £656 for Parkinson’s Research.
Now the society is pleased to announce details of its Valentine’s Evening Dance on Saturday, February 11, from 8pm until 11.30pm, in aid of Royal Surrey Hospital Charities.
There will be swing and jive dancing as well as the odd cha-cha, quickstep and foxtrot to The Artful Dodgers Dance Band, playing dance favourites, plus a brilliant mix of music from DJ June’s Tunes in-between sets.
The society says dress code is smart. You can take your own food but no drinks please as there will be a bar to hand. Free tea, coffee and cake will be available.
Tickets are on sale now at £16 per person.
Tickets are available at its classes on a Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening, or a Thursday Evening.
Others who would like to attend can book tickets by mailing June at info@surreyswing.com or by visiting the society’s online shop www.surreyswing.com/Shop.html
Also, new dancers are welcome to join its dance classes. For more details go to https://www.surreyswing.com/Classes1.html
