The Guildford Lions Club’s much-loved Charity Firework & Live Music Festival returns to Stoke Park, Guildford on Saturday, November 7.
The Lions (all of whom are volunteers) say it promises to be another unforgettable evening of live entertainment, spectacular fireworks and family fun, all in support of local charitable causes.
Once again, 100% of the profits will be directed towards charitable causes.
Alongside supporting the Lions’ own Club Welfare Fund, proceeds will also help raise awareness of knife crime among young people through Guildford Shakespeare Company’s Put Up Your Swords programme.
Gates open at 5pm.
Live music from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.
Festival-goers can again enjoy a high-energy performance from The Hired Guns, a popular party band performing hits from artists including The Killers, George Ezra, Kings of Leon, Taylor Swift and many more.
The firework display will be at 8.30pm, lighting up the night sky and bringing the evening’s celebrations to a memorable close.
There will also be children’s entertainment, while families can enjoy “LED jugglers” and walkabout characters.
There will also be a 30-minute LED spectacular, fairground rides, face painting and plenty of glow-in-the-dark fun.
Convenient free parking will be available nearby.
All ticket prices include booking fees. Adults: £17 until November 6, rising to £20 on November 7.
Children under 16 go free when accompanied by an adult.
The Lions’ add: “While we do everything possible to keep ticket prices affordable, we recognise that many individuals and families still find the cost of attending beyond their reach.
“With this in mind, we work closely with local charities and community organisations to ensure the event remains accessible to everyone.
“Thanks to this partnership approach, approximately 450 complimentary tickets have already been made available for distribution to those who would most benefit from a memorable night out.
“The continued support of local residents, businesses, volunteers and sponsors makes this event possible.
“We are proud that every penny of profit raised will help make a genuine difference within our community, supporting vulnerable individuals and creating opportunities for positive change.
This year, thanks to Guildford Spectrum, all ticket holders can enjoy 25% off bowling or ice skating on November 7, before heading across to Stoke Park for the evening.
For this, there are a limited number of discounted places available on a first come, first served basis. Book early and follow the link on your confirmation email if you’d like to take advantage of this offer.
