Catalyst, the drug and alcohol and mental health charity that is based in Guildford, has a charity bookshop in Queen Street, Godalming that is now selling vinyl records.
The charity says: “As well as a great selection of second-hand books, we now stock over 1,000 second-hand records offering our customers a great selection of both albums and singles in all genres.
“Our record collection includes rock and pop, soul, folk, musicals and films, classical and lots more.
“All proceeds raised will go back into the charity, enabling us to support more people across Surrey.”
The venture is called Make A Difference With Records – Vinyl for Charity and the shop also requires donations of vinyl records, and adds: “The more you donate the more money we raise for Catalyst and the better our variety of stock, so everyone wins.
“Either bring the vinyl to the shop during opening hours or if it is very bulky we will usually be able to collect.”

Do you want albums or 45s? Or maybe 12-inch singles?

Thank you very much for your interest. We sell albums, 45s and 12 inch singles across all genres. All we ask is that the vinyl is in saleable condition. Happy to meet up and discuss if you like.
