Wednesday, July 9, CGBC friendly triples match away against Wonersh: CGBC won by 73-59. A nice warm evening, with some threatening clouds that stayed away.

Saturday, July 12, friendly triples match at home against Petersfield; CGBC won by 67-57 (+10). Warm and somewhat muggy, with high clouds but no rain. Good company and a friendly atmosphere. No band playing, nor any Shakespeare!

Sunday, July 13, friendly rinks game at home against Mayford Hall; CGBC won by 57-55 (+2). A close run thing, as they began to catch up. Fine weather – a bit warm and muggy at first, but drier later. Good company.
