Cathedral Promises Inspiring Holy Week Concert

Guildford Cathedral is inviting people to an evening of inspiring music at a Holy Week concert on April 12th.

The performance will feature composer Christopher Wood’s Easter Oratorio, Holy Week, performed by The Cathedral Choir and 30 musicians. The concert will also include other choral masterpieces.

The music is intended to capture the drama, emotion, and beauty of the season within the iconic surroundings of Guildford Cathedral.

The readings during the Holy Week Oratorio will be read by The Rt Revd Paul Davies, Bishop of Dorking. All proceeds will go towards supporting the music of the Cathedral.
