In response to: Lights Up For Christmas

Congratulations to those who organised such an enjoyable event in our High Street. The Christmas lights are really attractive and it is good to see new lights extended this year up the High Street.

However, I can’t see any similar Christmas lights in Tunsgate itself which would increase footfall to its independent shops. The small businesses there have suffered so much lost trade because of the protracted work on the Tunsgate paving. Don’t they also deserve some help to start their festive retail season?
