Guildford Borough Council is hosting a Christmas service of remembrance at Guildford Crematorium on Wednesday, December 10 at 6.30pm.
The service offers time and space for people to remember loved ones during the festive season, bringing comfort and reflection at a meaningful time of year.
It will include carols, readings and prayers from local celebrants and faith leaders.
There will also be the opportunity to light a remembrance candle in memory of someone special.
The service is all faith and non-faith and children are welcome.
Booking is advisable by phoning the council’s bereavement services team on 01483 444711.
For those unable to attend, you can write a message of remembrance for someone special and have it placed on the memorial Christmas tree at the crematorium.
You can visit the crematorium and place the message on the tree yourself, or click on this link on the council’s website onto which you can write your message that will be added to the tree.
