Following last year’s sell-out event, the Christmas Weekend is back! Experience the sights, scents and sounds of midwinter at Watts Gallery Artists’ Village on November 24 and 25.

There is so much to do for you and the family and kids go free.

You can make beautiful Christmas crafts, from wrapping paper to wreaths and unique poetry paperchains inspired by the art and poetry of Christina Rossetti – the subject of our winter exhibition, Christina Rossetti: Vision & Verse.

Bring your hand-crafted memories of the day home and fill your house with festive scents of orange and cloves from our spiced fruits worksho

Share your Christmas wishes with Father Christmas and watch performances by the Holly King and his merry band, as the Rabble Folk Theatre bring midwinter to our woodlands with their 19th-century Christmas play.

Get in the festive spirit, as you enjoy the sounds of Christmas with carols, songs and music.

Discover poetry boxes in the Watts woodlands. Add your own words to create a collaborative poem, inspired by Christina Rossetti: Vision & Verse.

Taste warming food from our Tea Shop. For an extra treat, ice and decorate a winter goblin – inspired by Christina Rossetti’s ‘Goblin Market’ – that’s good enough to eat.

Fill your basket with seasonal delights from our artisan stallholders, including Silent Pool Gin, Kokoh Chocolates, The Little Barn Handmade Co. (Soap) and Flax and Loom (Handwoven bags and accessories). Visit our unique shop, where you will find bespoke gifts and stocking fillers for friends and family – or even a treat for yourself!

Admission: £13 per adult, under 16s go free, pre-booked friends of Watts Gallery Artists’ Village go free.

Visit wattsgallery.org.uk for more details of the Christmas Weekend and all the other exciting events at the artists Village.
