Guildford City’s scheduled match today (Saturday, February 7) away against Camberley Town, due to kick off at 3pm, has been postponed.
A pitch inspection following the wet weather was carried out this morning, but the pitch was deemed unplayable.
City’s fight against relegation continues. The team’s recent improved form could not prevent them losing away to Alton FC 3-0, but supporters were encouraged by a 3-1 win against Balham on Wednesday (February 4).
It was 0-0 at half time and Balham were the first to score in the second half before goals from Burgess-Allen, Edwards and Oppong, from the narrowest of angles, secured the win.
City’s net match is against Corinthian Casuals on Wednesday, February 11 at 7.30pm at The Spectrum.
