The Care Quality Commission (CQC) will be inspecting Surrey County Hospital on 16-18 October 2013 and wants to hear from anyone who has recently used health and care services about their experience.
The commission’s website states: “We make sure hospitals, care homes, dental and GP surgeries, and all other care services in England provide people with safe, effective, compassionate and high-quality care, and we encourage them to make improvements.”
Respondents are assured that any comments will be anonymous and confidential. They say: “CQC inspectors will read them before they make their inspection. Your views and experiences will help inspectors to determine which areas to look at during the inspections.”
There will also be a “listening event” on: at 6.30pm, Thursday, October 17th at the Y Centre, Bridge Street (aka the YMCA), Guildford. Anyone who has received care is welcome to come along and: talk to the CQC about their experiences; share feedback on how improvements need to be made; find out how the new inspections will be carried out.
Readers can also relate their experiences at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/
