Commuters Asked: ‘Did You See Fight Near London Road Station?’

Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a fight involving two men near London Road train station in Guildford.

The incident occurred at around 7.30pm last night (Tuesday March 21) and involved two men who were fighting in Waterden Road, near to the train station.

One of the men was taken to hospital with facial injuries.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Nick Ring said: “This happened in a public place and could possibly have been seen by commuters walking through the area to the train station.

“If you use this route or know someone that does please get in touch and let us know if you have any information about what happened.”

Surrey Police requests those with any information to call 101, or report information online at report.police.uk quoting reference number 45170029292.
