Compton Bus Collision Reported

An unconfirmed report has been submitted to the The Guildford Dragon NEWS of a collision yesterday (Wednesday) in the Binscombe/Compton area involving a bus.

The incident is believed to have taken place by the junction of the B3000 and The Avenue. Surrey Police were at the scene. There were no reports of any casualties.

Stagecoach South service 46 is routed to pass through The Avenue.

This image taken by a motorist looking towards Compton was submitted to Guildford Past & Present. It shows a bus across the B3000 near the junction with The Avenue.
