Conservative Group Leadership Meeting Delayed

An uncorroborated report has been received that the GBC Conservative group meeting, expected to take place yesterday (June 13), was postponed.
The meeting was to have been significant because Paul Spooner the group leader had Tweeted his resignation on Wednesday, effective from yesterday.
It is believed, but unconfirmed, that Nigel Manning, as the deputy group leader, will take over until a leadership election can be held.
