Cyclist Seriously Injured in East Clandon Collision – Police Seek Witnesses

Surrey Police officers were called to Staple Lane in East Clandon yesterday (August 8) at around 12.45pm following a collision between a car and a cyclist.

The cyclist, a woman in her 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver, a woman in her 70s, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.

A police spokesperson said: “We are looking to speak to anyone who might have witnessed this collision, or anyone with CCTV, dash-cam or helmet-cam footage that may have captured all or part of this incident.
