FISH (Fun In the School Holidays), a council organised playscheme, celebrated 15 years in style with a Mad Hatter’s Tea Party.

Deputy Mayor Cllr Gordon Jackson joined in the fun-filled afternoon with council play scheme staff and around 120 young people, enjoying tea and jam tarts. Young people dressed up as characters from ‘Alice in Wonderland’ for the day, which also featured themed activities, decorations and a special birthday cake.

FISH was recently named runner up in ‘Outstanding Play Provision’ at the National Playwork Awards, a fantastic achievement for the team.
