Did You See Hit and Run on Farnham By-pass?

A seriously injured female pedestrian was found lying in the road on the Farnham by-pass in the early hours today (June 5).

Police were called around 1.20am to the westbound carriageway of the A31 between the junctions of Weydon Lane and the Coxbridge roundabout.

Officers are now looking for a light blue or silver BMW 1 Series in connection with the “fail to stop” collision. The pedestrian remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

A police spokesperson said: “We would encourage people to report any vehicles matching the description which has recently been parked or abandoned overnight or today.

“The vehicle involved in the collision would have sustained front and nearside damage as well as damage to the nearside wing mirror.

“Our enquiries remain ongoing to identify and locate the driver of the vehicle and to establish the circumstances of the incident.”
