Police officers in Guildford have issued a CCTV image of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with two thefts at a Chinese supermarket in Guildford.

At about lunch time on Friday, December 14, a woman went to Chinese Taste on Woodbridge Road, Guildford and stole a handbag belonging to a member of staff containing bank cards and cash.

A second theft occurred at the same store back in August 2012 when a woman entered the staff room and stole various items from a handbag including an iPod and a purse containing cash.

DC Andy Greaves investigating these incidents said: “We have obtained a very clear image of the woman we would like to speak to in connection with these thefts and we are hoping that someone will ring in with her name.

“Equally if you are the person in the image please contact Surrey Police on 101 so we can progress this investigation.”
