Dragon Interview: Council Leaders on Joint Working Between Guildford & Waverley

Work between Guildford and Waverley borough councils has been continuing apace in their joint desire to deal with the ever-increasing financial pressures.

Next week the two councils will be asked to approve the next steps in the initiative which will clearly have a very significant impact on the teams of officers that work for the two local authorities.

The leaders of the two councils, Joss Bigmore (GBC) and Paul Follows (WBC) agreed to be interviewed by Dragon editor Martin Giles.

They seem to have formed a good working relationship but will the initiative be good news for the residents of the two boroughs? Please watch the video and see what you think…
