As Covid infection rates are once again increasing, there is a day to day average of 10 to 14 in-patients suffering from Covid currently at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
But as the pandemic becomes an almost normal part of our daily lives, the major concern for Louise Stead, the hospital’s chief executive, is that patients on the waiting list for surgery come forward when called, otherwise the valuable surgery slots can be wasted.
