The Royal Surrey County NHS Trust has faced several major challenges in recent years. First, of course, there was the Covid pandemic but ongoing are the problems of staff shortages, patient waiting times, and industrial action.

In this interview with Dragon editor Martin Giles, The trust”s CEO Louise Stead gives a forthright update on the situation.

Despite the daunting difficulties she explains that it is not all doom and gloom and progress is still being made.
