Dragon Interview: Will Forster MP On His Recent Visit to Ukraine

Published on: 9 Mar, 2025

Will Forster hears first-hand of the front-line experience of this Ukrainian soldier.

The Woking MP attended a ceremony to mark the third anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in Kyiv’s Freedom Square.

It is three years since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. The anniversary coincides with the start of the second US Presidential term of Donald Trump and the very existence of Ukraine as a sovereign state has never been under such risk since it gained independence in 1991.

Woking’s Lib Dem MP Will Forster travelled with a cross-party group of MPs to Kiev to take part in the anniversary commemoration ceremonies and fact-find on what more can be done to assist in the provision of medical services in Ukraine.

Hear his report below in an interview with Dragon editor Martin Giles…

Visiting a hospital and rehabilitation centre in Ukraine. Will is now pushing for more British medical aid.
