Christmas Activities in Guildford High Street in 2022. Look out for even more in 2023.

Head to Guildford this Christmas for a packed schedule of festive fun for all the family. With seasonal events, entertainment, offers and promotions, the town will be buzzing with an air of celebration and joy, with festive treats available for all ages.

Here are just a few of our choice tips to get you in the yuletide mood!

Kick off the season with Guildford’s Festive Family Fun Day on Sunday November 19.

A full day of entertainment and celebration (11am to 4pm), this free event is brought to you by Experience Guildford and Guildford Borough Council, and is guaranteed to get you into the festive spirit.

Look out for Christmas characters on the high street, including the cheeky elves, get into the groove with Bigmouth’s Christmas Disco from the Guildhall balcony, sing along with the Rock Choir and marvel at the moves of the LDA Dance Crew as they both perform at Tunsgate Arch.

You’ll find heaps going on at various locations around the town, and lots to keep you and all the family entertained. You’ll also find a Christmas Market and the return of the Snow Globe at Phoenix Court for that fully immersive winter wonderland feeling!

Back by popular demand, be sure to grab this year’s Little Book of Offers!

Available throughout the town from November 19, it’s full of festive offers, discounts and promotions from all your favourite shops, cafes, and lifestyle businesses. It’s the perfect accompaniment to the forthcoming festive season.

There will be a Christmas ornament craft workshop taking place at Artful Kids on November 25, and a Santa letter-writing and Christmas card-making workshop on December 2. Both are drop-in sessions running from 11am to 3pm, and are free to attend,

Enjoy free parking…

…after 3pm every Thursday at selected car parks using the RingGo app from November 30 to December 21. A great incentive to support your high street and shop local this year.

Meet all your favourite Christmas characters

Every Saturday throughout December, Santa will be making an appearance at White Lion Walk on the 2^nd and, also visiting the town centre, the Fluffy Bouncy Reindeers (9^th), Mr and Mrs Clause (16^th), and the Gingerbread Men (23^rd).

Get down to some Sunday sounds of the season…

…with a free festive disco taking place from the Guildhall balcony on December 10 (12pm to 4pm), and Charley Farley Sunday Four performing on the high street on 17^th December (11am to 3pm).

Then get wrapping for Real Change Guildford

Volunteers from the borough’s homeless charity will be setting up a stall in White Lion Walk to make your Christmas gifts look gorgeous. They’ll be running a festive gift-wrapping service every Friday to Sunday from December 15 right up until Christmas Eve, to help raise funds for this worthy charity that makes a real difference to people’s lives.

And an unusual, eye-catching Santa
