Fatal Stabbing at Stoke Park – Two Teenagers Charged with Murder

Two teenage boys have been charged with murder following a fatal stabbing in Stoke Park, Guildford on Monday,  January 19.

A 15-year-old and a 16-year-old, who cannot be named because of their age, were charged with murder, conspiracy to rob, and possession of a bladed article, on Friday, January 23. They will appear at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 24 January.

Police were called to woodland in Stoke Park at 6.10pm on Monday, 19 January, following reports of a stabbing at the location.

Earlier today the victim was now formally identified as 15-year-old Luis Gabriel Guembes.

    In view of this horrific news, I’d like to plead for the restoration of the bus service between central Guildford and Guildford Spectrum.

    Some Guildford teenagers who previously walked to the Spectrum may no longer be allowed to do so by worried parents.
