Fight Against Surrey Wildfire Scaled Back

Firefighters are continuing to attend the large wildfire at Hankley Common where over 50 hectares have already been affected.

A spokesperson for Surrey Fire & Rescue said: “We’ve scaled back our response but expect to be on the scene for some time longer.”
