Fire Service Tackling Guildford House Blaze

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service announced early this evening that they were dealing with a house fire on Bushy Hill Drive, off Epsom Road, Guildford (May 11).

A statement said they had four fire engines at the scene, adding: “If you live nearby, please keep your windows and doors closed. Thank you.”

A later statement at 8.40pm said: “We have now left the scene and the incident is closed. Nearby residents no longer need to keep windows and doors shut.”
