It adds that this process, rooted in prayer and reflection, will guide the cathedral as it seeks to serve God faithfully and remain a beacon of hope for the wider community.

At the heart of this journey, the cathedral said: “It is a simple conviction: every voice matters.

“Staff, volunteers, worshipers, chapter members, parish partners, and friends across our town, diocese and county are invited to share their hopes and insights.”

Through surveys, interviews, meetings, and feedback sessions, people will have the opportunity to help shape the cathedral’s future mission and priorities.

The consultation process aims to discern a clear vision and mission for 2026 through to 2030.

To identify strategic themes and practical objectives.

To develop a sustainable financial strategy for long-term stability.

Celebrate and launch a new plan in Eastertide 2026.
