From hour-long talks to 12-week courses, the Guildford Institute has a packed schedule of activities planned for its autumn term.
With events running from the start of September to Christmas, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
Local historian David Rose will again be tutoring on Guildford’s recent history. There will be fours talks on Tuesday mornings, November 24 to December 15.
His topics this time will include local waterways, healthcare, education and prominent people. Items from his collection and the institute’s will be on display and the sessions include time for discussion.
And it’s also not too late to grab yourself one of the last remaining places on a brand new summer school course.
Throughout the summer months, a series of one-off workshops are on offer for anyone looking to try something new or to brush-up on their skills – from drawing and painting workshops to social media sessions to courses on the theatre.
Full details are available here.
The Guildford Institute now accepts credit and debit card payments for all of its activities, meaning that it’s never been easier to get involved.
