Enjoy all the fun of the seaside this August as Guildford-on-Sea returns to the banks of the River Wey.
Located next to The Electric Theatre, Onslow Street, the urban beach is free to enter and open daily from 10am to 6pm from Thursday to Saturday, August 16 to 18.
Organised by Experience Guildford, with support from the Electric Theatre and Guildford’s Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), it’s the ideal place to have fun with children after a busy day at the shops, with bucketfuls of sand, deck chairs, balloon giveaways, beach huts, free face painting and candyfloss.
Plus, this year sees the introduction of the first Guildford-on-Sea Sundown Sessions. Taking place on Thursday, August 16, from 7pm to 10pm, the Sundown Sessions, open to over 18s only, will feature a DJ, barbecue, ping pong tables, beach volleyball and a bar selling a range of summertime drinks.
