This week there were 165 runners, of whom 17 were first timers and 11 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 16 different athletics clubs took part.

Another muddy run!

Men’s placings:
James BROWNE (SM35-39) of Belgrave Harriers, was first over the line in 18:33 – first appearance.
Christopher PECK (SM30-34) (unattached) was second over the line in 19:13 – was first to finish once before.
Rod SAXBY (VM45-49) of Cranleigh Tortoise & Hare Runners, was third over the line in 19:23.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Daniel Peter HEFFERNAN (Unattached) 3,666 pts.
David WOODCOCK (Unattached) 2,842 pts.
Andrew FLANAGAN (Unattached) 2,668 pts.

Women’s placings:
Samantha LUDLOW TAYLOR (SW30-34) of Serpentine RC, was first (11th overall) over the line in 21:04 – second time in 3 appearances.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Woking AC, was second (12th overall) over the line in 21:22 – has been first to finish on 5 previous occasions.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (13th overall) over the line in 21:41 – has been first to finish on 6 previous occasions.

Susanne BARNES (Woking AC) 3,804 pts.
Julia BONILLA (Unattached) 3,324 pts.
Susanna HARRISON (Woking AC) 3,016 pts.

The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 00:15:30 on April 7, 2012, (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013, (event number 57).
