This week there were 216 runners, of whom 42 were first timers and 32 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 20 different athletics clubs took part i n the run in Guildford’s Stoke Park.

Men’s placings:
Justin MITCHELL (VM40-44) of Woking AC, was first over the line in 18:39 – seventh time in nine appearances.
Robert HARDY (SM30-34) (unattached) was second over the line in 19:10 – has been first to finish on two previous occasions.
Adrian BARBROOKE (SM35-39) (unattached) was third over the line in 19:22.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
Anthony ALDRED (unattached) 200 pts.
Justin MITCHELL (Woking AC) 199 pts.
Ben SUNCKELL (unattached) 187 pts.

Women’s placings:
Katherine PHILP (VW35-39) of Garden City Runners, was first (seventh overall) over the line in 20:32 – 11th time in 12 appearances.
Sophie LOVELL (SW25-29) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (ninth overall) over the line in 20:35 – has been first to finish on seven previous occasions.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Woking AC, was third (20th overall) over the line in 21:48 – has been first to finish on 5 previous occasions.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Keith SPACIE (VM75-79) was graded 76.36% for the time 26:18 (85th overall).
Susanna HARRISON (VW50-54) was graded 74.04% for the time 22:55 (32nd overall).
Justin MITCHELL (VM40-44) was graded 73.73% for the time 18:39 (first overall).

The women’s record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 00:18:46 on May 18, 2013, (event number 60).
The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 00:15:30 on April 7, 2012, (event number five).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
