This week there were 268 runners, of whom 37 were first timers and 77 recorded new personal bests. Representatives of 19 different athletics clubs took part.

Men’s placings:
Alex MCINTOSH (SM30-34) of Garden City Runners, was first over the line in 17:29 – fifth time in seven appearances.
Tom ROBERTSON (SM30-34) of Phoenix Triathlon, was second over the line in 18:10 – was first to finish once before.
Jez SPENCER (VM45-49) (unattached) was third over the line in 19:37.

Current standing in the men’s annual points competition:
David ANDREWS (unattached) 778 pts.
Trevor WOOD (unattached) 716 pts.
Anthony ALDRED (unattached) 660 pts.

Women’s placings:
Charlotte WARD (SW20-24) of City of Hull AC, was first (fourth overall) over the line in 19:40 – first appearance.
Cecilia SIRUFFO (SW30-34) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was second (11th overall) over the line in 20:31 – has been first to finish on seven previous occasions.
Michelle OLDHAM (VW40-44) of Guildford & Godalming AC, was third (12th overall) over the line in 20:35 – has been first to finish on five previous occasions.

The following runners recorded the best age grade scores:
Keith SPACIE (VM75-79) was graded 79.28% for the time 25:20 (97th overall).
Clare SYLVESTER (VW50-54) was graded 78.73% for the time 21:33 (24th overall).
Simon BEAN (VM55-59) was graded 77.28% for the time 19:53 (6th overall).

The women’s record is held by Katherine PHILP who ran in a time of 00:18:46 on May 18, 2013 (event number 60).
The men’s record is held by Tom ALDRED who ran in a time of 00:15:30 April 7, 2012 (event number 5).
The age grade course record is held by Jane DAVIES who recorded a 90.41% run (22:25) on April 27, 2013 (event number 57).
