Guildford’s First Triathlon Taking Place On May 29

Guildford’s first triathlon is being held on Sunday, May 29, and competitors can sign up now.

Taking place in and around the Surrey Sports Park and the University of Surrey grounds, it will involve a sprint distance triathlon for adults, and shorter ‘tristar’ distance aquathlon events for children.

Guildford’s first triathlon is taking place on Sunday, May 29.

Athletes will complete their swim in the 50m Surrey Sports Park pool, before taking to their bikes to complete a 20km route along quiet roads to the north-west of Guildford.

The off-road run will follow trails across land owned by the University of Surrey. Children will complete their run on the Surrey Sports Park fields following a pool swim.
