Gunshots Heard in Ash – Police Appeal for Information

Surrey police were called to Guildford Road, Ash on Sunday (February 25, 2018) to investigate reports of gunshots.

The incident occurred around 10.30pm.

No casualties were found but a car door was damaged. There is not believed to be any wider threat to the public.

A police spokesperson said: “We now need to hear from anyone who may have seen a car driving suspiciously or making off at speed.

“Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call Surrey Police on 101 quoting PR/ P18045934.

“Alternatively the independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
