Wednesday June 24: Castle green’s friendly away fixture against Puttenham & Wanborough took place on a perfect summer’s evening. The match of three triples teams was played, as usual, in a very friendly manner, and Castle Green managed wins on all three rinks, with a total of 63-37 (+26 shot difference). Individual rink results were.

Tuesday June 23: Castle Green senior men’s Tuesday Triples League away match against Astolat
led to a defeat by 32-44 (-12 against). After eight ends it was 15 points each. But by the end the scales had tipped in Astolat’s favour. The weather was kind, with a mix of sunny blue skies and fluffy white clouds. The warmth was tempered by a cool breeze blowing up over Stoke Park from the west. Results were;
B West (skip), C Summerhayes, D Redgwell 18-26.
P Plummer (skip), P Smith, N Hinde 14-18.

Saturday June 20: On a somewhat rainy afternoon, with some sunny spells, Castle Green managed
