In response to: MPs Must Knuckle Down To Their Homework
With all the unnecessary bile of those desperate to leave the EU at any cost, does it not cross their minds that a large number of us who voted to leave the EU in terms of being politically controlled by Brussels, didn’t however want to destroy the economic ties which we have had with Europe for the last 45 years.
These ties, if broken, will mean the imposition of tariffs on the goods which we export to Europe and the collapse of many types of businesses which are unable to afford the additional costs.
I imagine that many of the people who voted Remain have now accepted that Britain will leave the EU but I’m sure that they would wish that our economic links with Europe continue.
I would therefore suggest that there is probably now a majority of people (both Leave and Remain) who support having a deal in place.
