In response to: Council Leader ‘Under Investigation’ for Backing Star Inn Over Live Music Noise
For once I am with Cllr Spooner.
The developers were advised of their neighbour being a live music venue. As another correspondent, Ms Hall says, why do people buy properties near places that might cause a nuisance to them? I can think of other recent incidences, church bells, crickets clubs, and sports fields.
Can I complain that neighbours are using noisy garden implements or building extensions over many months using angle-grinders and loud power tools, which they are, and have them stop work? Of course not.
The fact that only one person has made a complaint which will result in thousands of people losing regular, pleasurable entertainment is absurd.
