In response to: What Awaits Guildford After Voter Revolution Topples Tories?

I am a Conservative member and have been for say 50 years. Whilst I appreciate this was a local election it was an opportunity for me to send a signal of great displeasure to the party over the Brexit shambles by tactical voting. I could never vote Labour or Liberal Democrat so R4GV [Residents for Guildford & Villages] gained my vote, without me supporting them.

I don’t think I am alone and my voting will be quite different at a general election if the party is capable of compromise with Labour. If not, I will have to abstain.
