In response to: John Rigg’s comment on We Have a Practical Plan for the Local Plan
Cllr John Rigg has described me, amongst other things, as an “armchair warrior”.
Apart from the appropriateness of public servants being so disrespectful of members of the public, I would ask him to consider if this description is apt for one who has:
So, I respectfully suggest to Cllr Rigg that he reflects a little, and maybe counts to ten, before levelling such cheap and easy accusations at residents he is sworn to serve.

I completely agree with Jules Cranwell. It’s inappropriate for our elected representatives to be so disrespectful to members of the public. Sadly this isn’t the first time and won’t be the last.
Someone should give R4GV councillors training on how to communicate with residents. They have very quickly forgotten why they were elected. We don’t want excuses or these nasty and disrespectful comments in The Dragon.
Instead, we want action to protect the green belt and a brownfield-site-first planning policy. If they can’t do that then they should just be honest and make way for GGG.
