Letter: Is Your Journey Really Necessary Councillors?

I was intrigued to learn of trips around the world by  Surrey County Councillors.

No doubt these were not planned lightly and much was learned, especially on the trip to China.

However, in these days of cut backs and austerity perhaps the same question should be asked as was asked during the last war.

“Is Your Journey Really Necessary?”

No doubt this will be asked by council tax payers in the coming council elections this May.
