From Jules Cranwell
In response to: What About Burpham?
My application for a Judicial Review seeks to reverse the allocation of all green belt strategic sites, including Gosden Hill, the closest to Burpham. There is no more emphasis on other green belt sites, compared to Burpham. Jim Allen may want to read the application. The JR is as much in the interests of Burpham as anywhere else in the borough.
It is true that there are two other JRs, aimed specifically for Blackwell Farm and Wisley. Mine is generic. However, all of the JRs would be beneficial for Burpham, if successful, as they would set a precedent for all strategic sites.
The fact is that two organisations and one individual, supported by an amazing number of residents, took the steps needed to apply, successfully, for a JR. Anyone in Burpham could have done likewise.
I remain NIABY [Not In Anyone’s Back Yard] and proud.

And so say all of us.
It’s about time that the council represented the people who live in the Borough.

Excellent if true. Where can we read the submitted documents?

The grounds for the application have previously been published on the Dragon site.
I will find a way to place the full application in the public domain.

Doesn’t Jules Cranwell really want a ban on new housing building anywhere?
