The service has definitely got worse since the takeover although I think this has to be in part down to Network Rail and the works that were carried out in the Summer at Waterloo.

Trains often crawl into Waterloo due to capacity issues, signal and points failures are only too common.

South Western is often late leaving Waterloo and on average once a week there are issues. Last week it was, “Sorry for the short formation of this train it left the depot this way” or “The train before this one was cancelled”. They even admitted it had been a, “bad week for commuters”.

This was the week I saw a woman volunteering to stand in the toilet just so she could get on the carriage and pregnant women standing that were unable to even get into the carriages to ask for someone’s seat.
