In response to: Five Designs Worth Celebrating – Says the Guildford Society

I would like to thank Sarah Sullivan for her super article on the Guildford Society design awards. It makes very interesting reading, and I love the little sketches of the presenters that she included.

Wasn’t Hitherbury House once under threat, and wasn’t the Arts and Crafts Movement in Surrey (ACMS) involved in the fight to save it?

Perhaps she could refresh my memory, and also give people a bit of information about the work of the ACMS, in case any other fans of the Arts and Crafts style are unaware of the society’s existence and might be interested to find out more about this society that meets regularly in Guildford?
