In response to: Sara Sharif Trial Latest – Sara’s Mother and Uncle Will Not Give Evidence

Thank you to Martin Giles and the team at The Guildford Dragon NEWS for the daily updates from this awful trial.

By providing so much detail on all aspects of the trial, and not just publishing the most shocking aspects without context, they’ve brought a really valuable sense of balance, seriousness and responsibility to the updates – which has made the horror even clearer.

And by reporting on the trial process too, they’ve helped extend the sense of civic duty to Dragon readers, allowing them to be careful and observant, like members of the jury.

Thank you again for bearing witness in this way, and helping others do the same.

RIP to that poor little girl.
