Letter: Thanks to Anonymous Strangers Willing to Help

Could I communicate through The Dragon to the three lads who helped me out when my car broke down in the centre lane of Onslow Street outside the Friary this morning (July 22).

They pushed my car into the bottom of North Street and then one, who explained he was a BMW mechanic, tried to determine the fault with my car. I owe him particular thanks.

It was extremely gratifying that people willing to assist strangers are still out there and if the mechanic would contact The Dragon I’d like to send a thank you direct.

The car is now in the garage awaiting repair following assistance from the AA who I would also like to thank.
