I find myself in the uncomfortable position of being able to agree with Cllr Spooner on something.

This is another own goal by the Lib Dems, looking for a solution to a problem that does not exist. It is nothing but another exercise in “virtue signalling”.

I would also ask what on earth has this to do with the environment, Cllr Steel’s portfolio? He would do better directing his energies to address the massive impact the Local Plan is having on the environment. The council has declared a “climate emergency”. What have they done, practically, about it?
