What planet are Surrey County Council on?

The ‘alternative’ survey was done in an orderly and disciplined way. The results speak for themselves.

Why does the council insist on following ideas which are not wanted by the majority of local residents?

Obviously SCC leader Tim Oliver and his team do not live near Guildford, never take the A3 and the London Road into the town, and never read the reports that the road is just not wide enough to accommodate these proposed cycle tracks as well as providing sufficient space for large vehicles, and there is no possibility of widening the road.

To deny the viability of the surveys reminds me of the Three Wise Monkeys, “See no evil, hear no evil speak no evil”, except that it should read “See no truth, hear no truth, speak no truth!”
