Lib Dems Share Frustration Over Lack of Official Statement On David Hill

David Hill, currently on sick leave while investigation into the grievance made against him continues

Guildford Lib Dems have been the first political party to pass comment on the grievance procedure initiated against David Hill.

In a statement Cllr Zoe Franklin, their spokesperson, wrote:”The Liberal Democrat Group on Guildford Borough Council shares the frustration felt by The Guildford Dragon as there has been no official statement made to councillors…”

“We understand that David Hill is on authorised annual leave and that he has no contact with other council officers. This is the result of a grievance being taken out against him.

“An official investigation has been started and we hope that this is concluded swiftly and that should disciplinary action take place as a result of the investigation that it is also undertaken swiftly.”

This evening (July 2) The Guildford Dragon NEWS was informed that David Hill had been on annual leave but had reported sick while on that leave. As a result, he is now categorised as on sick leave.
