Reports of low water pressure, and even no water at all, in certain post codes were on the Thames Water website yesterday (Friday, April 28).
County councillor Angela Goodwin (Lib Dem, Guildford South West) posted on Nextdoor saying: “**Low water pressure / no water**
“Thames Water are aware of low water pressure / no water in certain post code areas (GU1, GU2, GU4, GU5 and GU8).
“Residents listed as vulnerable or with medical conditions are getting bottles of water delivered directly to them by Thames Water. Please keep checking their website for updates (https://www.thameswater.co.uk/network-latest).
The Nextdoor reports said bottled water had been delivered to Bramley (GU5) and GU2 post codes on Thursday.
As of today, there were no further warnings on the water company’s website. We invite readers to share their experiences of the low or no water in their areas.
In November (2022) many homes and businesses in the borough had their water supply interrupted, some for several days, because of problems at Ladymead Water Treatment Works.
