Major Fire Closes Loseley’s Farm Shop Cafe

A major fire, reported to have occurred late yesterday afternoon (June 13), has led to the closure of the Loseley “Farmm” Shop on New Pond Road until further notice.

Alexander and Sophie More-Molyneux who run the estate, said on their website: “Emergency vehicles arrived at the farm shop within minutes and most fortunately nobody has been hurt.”

One regular customer of the farm shop and cafe said: “This is very sad but thank goodness no one was injured.

“I hope it can reopen before too long. The cafe has become increasingly popular and I always look forward to my visits. It can be a good place to meet up with friends.”

But another customer was told that the cafe, shop and adjoining house had been completely destroyed.

When contacted Loseley Estate said: “ We are making no comment at the moment.”
