Officers were made aware of reports of an assault at around 2.45am in Bedford Road. The three victims had left the Casino Nightclub and were waiting on Bedford Road for a taxi. They were approached by three men who become aggressive and punched one of the victims.

The victims attempted to flee but were then assaulted by up to ten male suspects on the ground level of Bedford Road Car Park. The suspects dragged the victims to the floor and repeatedly kicked them.

One of the victims suffered a fractured jaw which required surgery.
